Sunflower

Take your time growing

You just planted your seed

Love on it, water it, appreciate it

That’s all that it will need

Don’t rush it

Let it take it’s time

Before you know it

It’s blossoms will shine

You will appreciate it’s sprout

You will see the potential of what it will become

It will soon expand out of it’s bud

It will not feel as if it will need to escape from

The treacherous heat

The blistering cold

It will follow the sun

It will shine bright like gold

It will no longer be withered

It will no longer be dry

Take your time with your seed

And soon it will multiply

Take time with you seed

Hold on to your faith with all your might

The sunflower within you with grow

Take your time to shine bright
